The theme reflects the current seasons and includes special occasions from a variety of cultures. There are six areas which the themed activities are divided into. These are language, literacy and communication skills, mathematical development, knowledge and understanding of the world, creative development, personal and social development and physical development. From September 2008 there will be an additional section- Knowledge of the Welsh language. Activities are planned per term. Topics are then broken down to half term segments and then again to weekly plans and ideas. There is always flexibility for change.
